A wonderful fruit sauce adds the perfect touch to these pork chops—try serving with a side of brown rice and steamed broccoli
For pork chops:
4 boneless pork chops (about 3 oz each)
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 medium orange, rinsed, for ¼ tsp zest (use a grater to take a thin layer of skin off the orange; save the orange for garnish)
½ Tbsp olive oil

Apple Dumplings
1 large Granny Smith Apple
1 tube of crescent rolls (8 rolls)
1 stick of butter
1 cup of apple juice
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven at 350° degrees F. Grease one 9 x 11 inch baking dish with spray. Slice apple in 8
even slices removing seeds. Wrap each slice with a crescent roll. Place all rolls in the baking
dish.
Melt butter and add apple juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Heat until blended well and then pour the
mixture evenly over the rolls.
Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes to prevent browning too much, then remove foil and
continue to bake for 15 more minutes. Serve hot.
