Chillin’ Out Pasta Salad

2 1/2 C (8 oz) medium shell pasta
1 C (8 oz) plain nonfat yogurt
2 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
2 Tbsp salt free herb seasoning
1 1/2 C celery, chopped
1 C green onion, sliced
1 lb small shrimp, cooked
3 C (about 3 large) tomatoes, coarsely chopped

Pasta Primavera

Pasta, vegetables, and a sprinkle of cheese make this a child-friendly classic that adults will love too

8 oz dry whole-wheat spaghetti
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic, minced (about ½ clove)
4 C assorted cooked vegetables — such as red pepper strips, broccoli florets, carrot sticks, or green beans (Leftover Friendly)
1 can (15½ oz) no-salt-added diced tomatoes
1 can (5½ oz) low-sodium tomato juice
¼ tsp ground black pepper
¼ C grated parmesan cheese

Bowtie Pasta with Chicken, Broccoli, and Feta

This yummy dish provides a tasty way to get your children to eat broccoli

2 C dry whole-wheat bowtie pasta (farfalle) (8 oz)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic, minced (about ½ clove)
8 oz white button mushrooms, rinsed and cut into quarters
4 C cooked broccoli florets (or 1 1-lb bag frozen broccoli, thawed)
1 C grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced (about 2 small breasts) (Leftover Friendly)
2 C low-sodium chicken broth
1 medium lemon, rinsed, for 1 tsp zest and 1 Tbsp juice (use a grater to take a thin layer of skin off the lemon; squeeze juice and set aside)

Buttons and Bows Pasta

This light and lemon-y meal is a refreshing change to the same old pasta

2 C dry whole-wheat bowtie pasta (farfalle) (8 oz)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic, minced (about 1 clove)
1 bag (16 oz) frozen peas and carrots
2 C low-sodium chicken broth
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, rinsed, dried, and chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
1 medium lemon, rinsed, for 1 tsp zest (use a grater to take a thin layer of skin off the lemon)
¼ tsp ground black pepper

Wow-y Maui Pasta Salad

try this flavorful side dish with the Hawaiian Huli Huli Chicken — or it’s perfect for a summer party!

2 C dry whole-wheat rotini (spiral) pasta (8 oz)
1 C fresh or frozen snow peapods, sliced thinly on an angle (julienned)
½ C cucumber, peeled and diced
¼ C carrots, peeled and diced
1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, diced; set aside ¼ C juice
½ C fat-free plain yogurt
1 Tbsp fresh chives, rinsed, dried, and chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, rinsed, dried, and chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper

Cajun Style Pasta


12 ounces linguine
1 teaspoon butter or olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
8−12 medium size shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 pound chicken breast meat, diced
2 1/2 tablespoons all−purpose flour
2 cups of 1% milk
2 tablespoons sherry
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
4 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup frozen peas
Salt and black pepper to taste

PASTA SOUP CLEAR













Ingredients: Fish Broth
250 grams snapper
1 piece of onion chopped
1 leek sliced
1 stalk celery sliced
5 grains of pepper seeds
1 liter of water

12 medium-size shrimp
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cloves garlic crushed
5 cm ginger crushed
